| | ASTARA TRANSIT TERMINAL is a main gateway border facility connecting Europe, Russia and CIS countries by rail to Astara Railway Terminal at the Azerbaijan-Iranian border. Astara Terminal also serves as the gateway for shipments of European and CIS cargo for Iraq, which can be transported in transit via Iran by road trailer. A further advantage of Astara Terminal is export of Iranian cargo by road to Astara and from Astara by rail to Russia and all other CIS and European countries.
