Astara Terminal is a multi-service, independent terminal operator in the Caspian Sea. We offer flexible work hours to increase productivity and expedite turn around time in port.
Productivity
We offer 2 container cranes and an experienced, professional work force that enables us to off load vessels efficiently, economically and on time.
Location
Strategically located on the west coast of the Caspian Sea. Our terminal offers a link between CIS countries to the Middle East enabling the customer to solve transport and logistical solutions for projects in the area.
Intermodal
We offer direct throughput from vessel and barge to rail for cargoes destined for CIS, Middle Eastern and European destinations.
Transportation
By road and rail, Astara provides one throughput. Providing access for trucking companies and providing railhead and trucking legs of our operation.
Dry Bulk
Astara offers a complete turn key operation for dry bulk commodities.
Break Bulk / 20 and 40 feet Container
Astara can handle these and outsize cargoes up to 120 tonnes, within the rail loading gauge. we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Stevedoring
Astara Terminal offers a unique independent stevedoring labor force. Flexible work hours, professional, and experienced work force allows us to maximize productivity, increase efficiency and minimize costs. We understand vessel turnaround time is essential in order to be competitive in today's market place.
Our stevedores are professionally trained, experienced, and skilled in handling any bulk or break bulk commodity that comes across our facility.
Rail Yard
Astara Terminal owns and operates it's own rail yard. The secure siding can stage up to 4 x 56 rail cars at a time inside the facility.
This allows Astara to work on a unit train of 2 x 56 cars at a time.
Equipment Services
Astara Terminal owns and maintains all of our equipment that is required to run and operate our facilities. With our on site maintenance facility, our professionally trained and certified mechanical staff ensures our equipment is in top working condition to guarantee maximum efficiency and 100% safe utilization at all times.
